The author originaly started this project in 2008 by tracing his family tree which was researched as far back as 1615. Some records I needed to access to prove where the surname originaly started were missing due to the destruction of Church Records during the English Cival War.

During the research it was noticed that a high proprortion of my ancestors were interrelated from the surrounding villages which spurred me into starting a family tree for the villages where high a proportion of them came from.

This site contains details of those familes living in the 6 villages surrounding Enderby which are distilled from church records, civil registration index's, transcibed census records from 1841 to 1911 & the register of inhabitents taken at the start of World War 2. These are in downloadable Excel format & show the interrelationships between individuals within the 7 villages & shows how a high proportion are related either through birth or marriage.
